Gift Giving Ideas

Having a hard time trying to come up with gifts that fit within your budget?  Well Stampin' Up! has broken down the catalog into catagories based on price for you.  Click on the Gift Giving picture on the left and see what they have come up with!!

Not sure what your crafter has or doesn't have, well make it easy on yourself and just purchase a Gift Certificate for them.  These certificates are offered by me and therefore can only be redeemed through me not Stampin' Up! or any other demonstrator.  I have provided a link for you to purchase the gift certificates in whatever increments you need.

Been Busy

I have been really busy making things for a couple of craft fairs that I signed up for.  I am not sure what will go over well or not since it is my first time doing this but I will definitely let you all know after it is all said and done how it went this coming weekend and the next!!  I will also post pictures of the items I created for the fairs once everything is done.  So I will be missing in action again for a few days and hopefully come Saturday evening I will be able to post what went over well.

Holiday Stamp A Stack

Can you believe it is that time of year already?  About this time every year I think we think where has the year gone.  Next week it is Halloween and before we know it Thanksgiving will be here and then Christmas.  I know not what people want to hear.  We all seem to say next year, I will be prepared earlier.  Next year comes and we are running around trying to get everything done!! LOL  Well now is the time to get those Christmas cards done and out of the way before Thanksgiving!!

On December 15, come make your cards and have them ready to mail right after Thanksgiving!! I will be offering 2 sessions for this class, 1-4pm and then 6-9pm.  You will make 16 cards for the price of $25!   That makes each card $1.75 and you will also get the envelopes to go with it.  If you would like to make more than 16 cards, I will be providing links so that you can purchase the original 16 cards and then two other options.  You can purchase a full kit which will give you 32 cards for $40 or you can purchase the original 16 cards plus a full kit for a total of 48 cards for $52.  Make sure you select the correct option so that you don't end up with an extra kit when you didn't want one!!  Hope to see you there!  I am also offering this as a Class by Mail as well since there is no stamping at all in this kit.  Email me at stampinwithdani@live.com if you would like to purchase this class through the mail and which kit so I can send you an invoice with postage included.

Some awesome projects by Shelli Gardner

How many of you would love to have a nice table setting for the holidays but don't have the money to splurge on those fancy napkin holders and such with our economy being what it is.  Well check out this video for some wonderful ideas.  If you don't have Stampin' Up!'s version of the Big Shot yet, well now is the time to get one.  I am going to be starting a Big Shot Club and you can purchase your Big Shot on a layaway plan.  Contact me if you are interested in joining the club to get your Big Shot.

Place-settings

I will be posting information on my Holiday Stamp a Stack tomorrow and give you a sneak peak at my Holiday Stamp Camp that is geared towards gift giving ideas.  I am also putting together some ideas for stocking stuffers for a class in December so stay tuned.

I will be doing a few Craft Bazaars in the next few weeks.  The first will be for The Deaf Center of Idaho on November 8 from 10am to 4pm at 1720 Westgate Dr. Suite D in Boise.  Come help support a wonderful organization.

On November 14 and 15th I will be doing another Craft Bazaar at 200 W Beech St in Caldwell.  There will be lots of different vendors from the area and a great way to help support one of our local Assisted Living organizations.  Beech Street is located right off of Kimball half a mile down from UStick.

Hope to see some of you there!!

Flower Fancy Portfolio

There are stamps that just capture your eye when you first browse through the catalog and this was definitely the one that captured mine!!  What was even better was one of the classes we took stressed that we should purchase items based on usability and they just happened to show that this set is a very versatile set so of course I had to get it!!

In this class we will be making a portfolio that will hold 4 cards and envelopes to go with those cards.  You will receive colored instructions on how to make this project and there will be a few color choices so you will want to arrive early to make sure you get the color you want.  Please RSVP by October 3rd by emailing me at stampinwithdani@live.com.  The cost of the class is $12 and I am also offering it by mail.  Shipping on this class will be an extra $5.

Sorry I have been missing in action

Things have been a bit hectic around here.  We had a death in the family and with school starting and sports practices I am not sure if I am coming or going. Hopefully things will get back to being a little more normal.

I found this little backpack awhile back and made it as a gift to my upline Linda Payne.  She has done so much for me in the last few months to help me with my business and I wanted to give her a little something to thank her.  Anyways,  I decided to make this a class for this month.  You will get the template and instructions on making both these cute bags for $10.  Email me stampinwithdani@live.com to let me know if you are interested in coming to the class or if you would like to purchase the kit through the mail. To purchase through the mail there will be an additional $5 charge for shipping.Imgp1670a

Class will be at 7pm September 25, 2008.   Email me for location.
